WG2 Meeting “Towards realistic secondary electron simulation”

A hybrid WG2 meeting is taking place in Vienna, Austria, on June 28, 2024, with the theme “Towards realistic secondary electron simulation”. The goal of the meeting is to discuss paths towards refined simulation of FIB induced secondary electron generation, emission, and FIBID.

9:30 Get-together

10:00 Wolfhard Möller: “Simulation of FIB-induced secondary electron mediated deposition with TRI3DYN”

10:30 Alexander Kuprava: “Fast and efficient simulation of the FEBID process”

11:00-11:30 Break

11:30 Filip Mika: “Selective secondary electron detection in conventional SEM – applications and simulations”

12:00 Anjam Khursheed: “Extracting DOS/band energy information from secondary electron generation inside scanning ion/electron microscopes”

12:30-14:00 Lunch

14:00 Simone Taioli: “Electron and ion collisions: From materials science to astrophysics”
